Во время майского визита делегации руководства Всемирного Совета Церквей (ВСЦ) в Украину, в городе Буча на окраине Киева 12 мая состоялся экуменический молебен. Руководство ВСЦ, в частности, генеральный секретарь ВСЦ преподобный профессор д-р Джерри Пиллэй, председатель центрального комитета ВСЦ епископ Генрих Бедфорд-Штром и архиепископ Викен Айказян при участии членов Всеукраинского Совета Церквей и религиозных организаций (ВСЦиРО) провели богослужение в православной Церкви Святого Апостола Андрея Первозванного в Буче.

Під час візиту в Україну делегації керівництва Всесвітньої ради церков (ВРЦ) в Бучі, що на околиці Києва, 12 травня відбувся спільний молебен. Богослужіння, яке провели керівники ВРЦ, генеральний секретар ВРЦ преподобний проф. д-р Джеррі Піллей, голова центрального комітету ВРЦ єпископ Генріх Бедфорд-Штром та архієпископ Вікен Айказян за участю членів Всеукраїнської Ради Церков і релігійних організацій (ВРЦіРО), відбулося в храмі святого апостола Андрія Первозванного в Бучі. 

Durante la visita de la delegación de dirigentes del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) a Ucrania que tuvo lugar en mayo se celebró un servicio ecuménico de oración en Bucha, a las afueras de Kiev, el 12 de mayo. El servicio, oficiado por los dirigentes del CMI, con la participación del secretario general del CMI, Rev. Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay; el moderador del Comité Central del CMI, el obispo Heinrich Bedford-Strohm, y el arzobispo Vicken Aykazian, así como de miembros del Consejo Ucraniano de Iglesias y Organizaciones Religiosas (UCCRO), tuvo lugar en la Iglesia ortodoxa de San Andrés de Bucha.

Während des Besuchs der Delegation des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) im Mai in der Ukraine, wurde am 12. Mai in Butscha in der Umgebung von Kyiv ein ökumenischer Gebetsgottesdienst abgehalten. Der Gottesdienst wurde von der Leitung der ÖRK-Führungsdelegation – Generalsekretär des ÖRK Pastor Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay, Vorsitzenden der ÖRK-Zentralausschusses Bischof Heinrich Bedford-Strohm sowie Erzbischof Vicken Aykazian – mit der Teilnahme der Ukrainischen Rates der Kirchen und religiöser Organisationen (Ukranian Council of Chuches and Religious Organizations, UCCRO) in der orthodoxen St.-Andreas-Kirche in Butscha abgehalten. 

Au cours du voyage d’une délégation de la direction du Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) en Ukraine, au cours du mois de mai, un service de prières œcuménique s’est tenu le 12 mai à Boutcha, en banlieue de Kyiv. Le service, dirigé par la direction du COE, le pasteur Jerry Pillay, secrétaire général du COE, l’évêque Heinrich Bedford-Strohm, président Comité Central du COE et l’archevêque Vicken Aykazian, avec la participation de membres du Conseil des Églises et organisations religieuses d’Ukraine (UCCRO), a eu lieu en l’église orthodoxe Saint Andrew à Boutcha. 

During the World Council of Churches (WCC) leadership delegation visit to Ukraine in May, an ecumenical prayer service was held in Bucha, on the outskirts of Kyiv, on 12 May. The service, led by the WCC leadership, WCC general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay, WCC moderator Bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm and Archbishop Vicken Aykazian, with participation of members of the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (UCCRO), took place at St Andrew Orthodox Church in Bucha.

World Council of Churches central committee moderator Bishop Dr Heinrich Bedford-Strohm delivered a lecture at the Kitzingen deanery, a regional church district near Würzburg, for the parishes of the deanery as well as for the public. The lecture, entitled “Just Peace through Military Force? Peace Ethical Considerations in Light of the War of Aggression against Ukraine,” was offered on 29 April

During an ecumenical morning prayer held 15 May, the World Council of Churches (WCC) staff and partners observed the UN International Day of Living Together in Peace, holding in prayer many nations across the world facing challenges to living together in harmony.

Against the background of the Russian invasion and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a high-level WCC leadership delegation visiting Ukraine undertook an intensive series of consultations in Kyiv on 11 May 2023, with church leaders, Ukrainian government officials, and others.

Durante la oración mundial por la paz celebrada el 22 de marzo, personas cristianas de todo el mundo se reunieron para orar por la paz en un mundo quebrantado y para escuchar las voces de las personas que sufren en Ucrania y otras zonas asoladas por el conflicto.

À l’occasion de la Prière mondiale pour la paix du 22 mars, les chrétiennes et les chrétiens du monde entier se sont réuni-e-s pour prier en faveur de la paix dans un monde brisé et pour écouter les voix des personnes souffrant en Ukraine et dans d’autres régions touchées par les conflits.

During a Global Peace Prayer on 22 March, Christians across the world drew together to pray for peace in a broken world, and to listen to voices from people suffering in Ukraine and other conflict-ridden areas.

A Global Peace Prayer on 22 March will draw Christians together in hope for a better future. A communique from a prayer planning committee explained that Christians are called into prayer and advocacy for peace. “In a global context where war and violence abound, the practice of peace has become even more urgent,” reads the message.

La oración mundial por la paz, el 22 de marzo, unirá a los cristianos con esperanza en un futuro mejor. En un comunicado, el comité de planificación de oraciones explicó que los cristianos están llamados a orar por la paz y a promover la paz. “En un contexto mundial en que abundan las guerras y la violencia, la práctica de la paz es aún más urgente”, dice el mensaje.

Ein weltweites Friedensgebet am 22. März soll christliche Gläubige in der Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft zusammenbringen. Das Kommuniqué eines Planungsausschusses für dieses Friedensgebet erklärt, dass christliche Gläubige zu Gebet und Fürsprachearbeit für Frieden aufgerufen sind. „In einem globalen Kontext, in dem es zu viel Krieg und Gewalt gibt, ist ein Engagement für Frieden dringlicher geworden denn je“, heißt es in dem Kommuniqué.

Le 22 mars prochain, une prière pour la paix dans le monde rassemblera les fidèles chrétiens dans l’espoir d’un avenir meilleur. Un communiqué publié par le comité de planification de la prière explique que les chrétien-ne-s sont appelé-e-s à s’unir dans la prière et à défendre la paix. «Dans un contexte mondial pris d’assaut par la guerre et la violence, la pratique de la paix est devenue plus urgente que jamais», précise le texte.
