You may use our Website without providing any personal data. However, in order to access certain reserved areas and contents, we may ask you to provide certain personal data relating to you.

1.    What data do we collect?

a)        Personal information such as, where appropriate, name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, bank details, etc. We collect this information only in connection with specific activities, such as campaigns, feedback, surveys, email newsletter subscriptions, etc. You do not have to disclose any of this information if you do not wish to.

b)        Non-personal information

We use “Google Analytics”, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google, Inc. uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer’s hard drive by a web page server. The information generated by the cookies (including your IP address) help us evaluating your use of our Website and determining how many individuals use our Website, how many people visit on a regular basis, which pages are most popular and which pages are least popular, for instance.

2.    Where will the data be held?

Data submitted through the forms on our Website is held on our servers in Switzerland and/or on servers pertaining to Lyris Technologies, Inc., which is based in the USA. Lyris Technologies has adhered to the Switzerland-US “safe harbor” program. From 21 December 2015, we will transfer this data to the servers of The Rocket Science Group, LLC, (MailChimp) which is based in the USA. The Rocket Science Group has entered into a special agreement with the WCC to ensure adequate protection for transferred personal data within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 of the Data Protection Act.

The data collected through “Google Analytics” will be transmitted to and stored by Google, Inc. on servers in the United States of America.

3.    Confidentiality

We will not disclose the data you provide us to any third party unless you have specifically given us permission to do so, or unless we believe that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process.

4.    Information from under 18s.

If you are under 18, be sure to obtain your parent's or guardian's permission before you send any information about yourself (your name, address, e-mail address, etc.) to us or anyone else over the internet. We encourage parents to get involved with their children's usage of the internet and to be aware of the activities in which they are participating.
