Members of the World Council of Churches are churches in most cases organized at the national level in the country where they exist. There are various criteria to be met, including a minimum membership of 50,000 and the expectation that any church which applies will already be working ecumenically in its own country and region.
According to the WCC Constitution and Rules, applications for membership must be initiated in writing and addressed to:
Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay
General secretary
World Council of Churches
P.O. Box 2100
CH-1211 Geneva 2
Switzerland
Please let us know, writing to [email protected]. We look forward to hear from you!
