70년 한국전쟁 종식을 위한 세계기독교인 기도캠페인

이홍정 한국기독교교회협의회(NCCK) 세계교회협의회(WCC) 한반도 평화를 위한 기도 캠패인을 (3월1일-8월 15일) 세계가 영구적 평화를 맞이 할 준비가 되어 있다는 것을 증명하는 것이라고 기도캠패인의 의미를 평가했다. 이 총무는 지난해 2019년 한반도 평화에 대한 미국 태도는 마치 평화를 향한 한국인의 주권을 침해하는 것처럼 보인다고 지적했다. 더욱이 그는 “미국의 주요 정당들이 중간 선거와 대통령 선거에서 우위를 차지하기 위해 한국 문제를 다루어 결국 남북의 평화를 향한 목소리를 잠재우는 것을 보고 실망스러움을 감출수 없다”고 말했다.

Peace and unity on the Korean Peninsula matters globally

While the peace process on the Korean Peninsula needs further progress built on trust, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected international humanitarian support and development cooperation efforts.
