Wenn die Weltimpfwoche am 24. April beginnt, werden neun Kirchenleitende von den verschiedenen Kontinenten aktiv ihre Rolle als so genannte „Vaccination Champions“ einnehmen. After ongoing consultations between church and healthcare leaders from many countries, the World Council of Churches has published an “Ecumenical Global Health COVID-19 Response Framework.”

Among the massive social dislocations caused by the coronavirus pandemic, perhaps none is as plaintive as those to churches.
