Communications from the WCC should be inclusive and maintain high accessibility. Inclusive and accessible communication contributes to creating a more inclusive WCC and realizing the human rights of all persons, including persons with disabilities.

Christian health networks appeal for global equity and solidarity in access to Covid-19 vaccines

During an online meeting on 3 February 2021, the Executive Committee of the Joint Working Group between the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Roman Catholic Church focused on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on ecclesial life and ecumenical relations in different local contexts.

Prof. Dr Mathew Koshy Punnackad was one of the pioneers who initiated the “green church” movement in India in the 1990s. Today, he is the director of the Ecological Concerns Department of the Church of South India (CSI).
