Remarks at the press conference will mainly focus on preparations for the 11th WCC Assembly, taking place in August-September in Karlsruhe, Germany under the theme “Christ’s love moves the world to reconciliation and unity.”
The WCC central committee, in its meeting, will also address business matters and strengthen the WCC fellowship through sharing and prayer.
The press conference will include an orientation of the work of the central committee, and then feature remakes from WCC central committee moderator Dr Agnes Abuom, as well as WCC acting general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Ioan Sauca.
There will be time allotted for questions from the media.
