WCC to welcome “Bethlehem Reborn” exhibit

The World Council of Churches (WCC) will welcome a “Bethlehem Reborn – Palestine – The Wonders of the Nativity” exhibit that will open in a live-streamed ceremony on 12 September, then be available to the public from 13 September-5 October daily. The multimedia touring exhibit highlights the rehabilitation of the Church of the Nativity in all its artistic beauty, historical significance, and spiritual messages. 

WCC general secretary visits Ecumenical Patriarchate

World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay is visiting the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul, Turkey, from 10-11 March. This is the first official visit of the WCC new general secretary to a member church since assuming his duties on 1 January 2023.

WCC moderator meets WCC staff to strengthen future collaboration

During a meeting with World Council of Churches (WCC) staff, WCC central committee moderator Bishop Dr Heinrich Bedford-Strohm shared insights from the assembly, the current financial situation and on how to strengthening the WCCs relationship with member churches.
