ÖRK gratuliert Welternährungsprogramm zum Friedensnobelpreis

Der Ökumenische Rat der Kirchen (ÖRK) begrüßt und lobt die Entscheidung, den Friedensnobelpreis 2020 an das Welternährungsprogramm der Vereinten Nationen zu verleihen. „Wir danken der Leitung und jeder einzelnen Mitarbeiterin, jedem einzelnen Mitarbeiter des Welternährungsprogramms für ihr Engagement und gratulieren ihnen allen“, sagte Priester Prof. Dr. Ioan Sauca, der Interims-Generalsekretärs des ÖRK. „Bei dieser multilateralen Organisation, die in unserer heutigen Welt unentbehrlich ist, arbeiten viele äußert engagierte Menschen und das zum Teil in den abgelegensten und unsichersten Regionen der Welt, die von Konflikten, Klimakatastrophen und Wirtschaftskrisen gebeutelt sind.“

WCC congratulates World Food Programme on receiving Nobel Peace Prize

The World Council of Churches (WCC) welcomed and celebrated the award of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize to the UN World Food Programme. “We express our gratitude and congratulations to the leadership and each staff member of the World Food Programme,” said Rev. Prof. Dr Ioan Sauca, WCC interim general secretary. “This vital multilateral organisation comprises many dedicated people, working in the remotest and most vulnerable regions of the world, affected by conflict, climate catastrophe and economic crises.”

El CMI felicita al Programa Mundial de Alimentos por el Premio Nobel de la Paz

El Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) celebró la concesión del Premio Nobel de la Paz 2020 al Programa Mundial de Alimentos de las Naciones Unidas. “Queremos agradecer y felicitar a los dirigentes del Programa Mundial de Alimentos y a cada miembro de su personal”, dijo el Rev. Dr. Ioan Sauca, secretario general interino del CMI. “Esta vital organización multilateral está integrada por muchas personas que trabajan con gran dedicación en las regiones más remotas y vulnerables del mundo, afectadas por conflictos, catástrofes climáticas y crisis económicas”.

Le COE félicite le Programme alimentaire mondial pour son prix Nobel de la paix

Le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) a salué et célébré l’attribution du prix Nobel de la paix 2020 au Programme alimentaire mondial des Nations Unies. «Nous exprimons notre gratitude et adressons nos félicitations à la direction et à chaque membre du personnel du Programme alimentaire mondiale», déclare le secrétaire général intérimaire du COE, le père prof. Ioan Sauca. «Cette organisation multilatérale vitale est composée de nombreuses personnes dévouées qui travaillent dans les régions les plus reculées et les plus vulnérables de la planète, affectées par les conflits, les catastrophes climatiques et les crises économiques».
