Christ’s Love (Re)moves Borders – GETI 2022 in images

GETI 2022, the third global iteration of a Global Ecumenical Theological Institute, brought together some 100 young theologians from across the globe for six weeks of intense ecumenical sharing and learning – first online for four weeks and then for two weeks in person onsite – as the World Council of Churches (WCC) recently gathered for its 11th assembly in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Green Village: Sale of land and office building and start of second development phase

Convinced by the innovative and sustainable concepts initiated by the World Council of Churches and Implenia, the leading Swiss construction and real estate services provider, Swiss Life Investment Foundation has bought a land plot on the Green Village estate and the Kyoto office building, which will have a gross floor area of some 14,000 m². Green Village, the real estate development project in the heart of the Quartier des Nations in Geneva, has successfully achieved a further milestone towards completion of its first phase.

World Council of Churches (WCC) staff gathered from 5 to 8 April for the first in-person Staff Planning Days in more than two years. Gathering also in a hybrid fashion, the aim was to strengthen collaboration, continue planning for the WCC 11th Assembly and initiate planning for 2023.
