Und die Daten deuten darauf hin, dass der Grund hierfür im von menschlicher Aktivität hervorgerufenen Anstieg von Treibhausgasen liegt. Wissenschaftler auf der ganzen Welt haben davor gewarnt, dass die Welt sich, sollte es so weitergehen, bereits 2030 um 1,5˚C erwärmt haben könnte. Das weniger als zehn Jahre und innerhalb der Lebenserwartung der meisten heute lebenden Menschen.

Wo zwei oder drei Christinnen oder Christen versammelt sind, da findet man sie wahrscheinlich entweder bei einer Andacht oder dabei, wie sie ihre Gemeinschaft bei einem guten Essen feiern. Bring ein paar Tausend Christinnen und Christen zusammen, und man trifft sie sicher bei einer Bibelstudie an.

Menschen aus der ganzen Welt trafen sich am 5. September in der Kirche St. Stephan in Karlsruhe, Deutschland, um gemeinsam für eine friedliche Vereinigung der koreanischen Halbinsel zu beten.

September über den christlich-jüdischen Dialog im israelisch-palästinensischen Kontext.

Häufig bleibt der Beitrag, den indigene Frauen in Asien für die Gesellschaft und ihre Gemeinschaften leisten, unbemerkt und wird aufgrund der anhaltenden Marginalisierung und Diskriminierung der indigenen Frauen nicht gewürdigt. By rights, it should have been Africa. Intentional gatherings – from small “home” groups to regional meetings also help to connect participants and bring different perspectives to the concerns and hopes being raised under the Assembly theme, “Christ’s love moves the world to reconciliation and unity”.
