Vollversammlung des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) hat einen Protokollpunkt zur Beendigung des Krieges und zu Frieden auf der koreanischen Halbinsel vorgelegt.   Der Protokollpunkt hält fest, dass die 10. Vollversammlung des ÖRK in Busan, Nordkorea bereits die weltweite ökumenische Bewegung auf die anhaltende Suche nach Frieden, Versöhnung und Wiedervereinigung des geteilten koreanischen Volkes aufmerksam gemacht hat.

Authorities have acknowledged the deaths of at least 50 people and that 1.2 million suspected cases – or almost 5% of the entire population – are being monitored.
