On Monday, 18 September the delegation was received by His Holiness Karekin II, the Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians, discussing the current situation in the blockaded enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).

The Lachin Corridor—the main road that links the region to Armenia—has been blocked for more than nine months, seriously affecting the lives and living conditions of 120,000 people.

The visit is taking place from 18-22 September, and includes meetings in the Armenian capital Yerevan and elsewhere with the state dignitaries, civil society organizations, and the EU Civilian Monitoring Mission, among others.
