With a focus on the legacy of nuclear testing and climate change, the World Council of Churches (WCC) is planning a pilgrimage visit to the Marshall Islands on 16-24 November.

Reflecting on “the experience of the one world” within the World Council of Churches (WCC) executive committee which is convening in Abuja, Nigeria, from 8-14 November, WCC moderator Bishop Dr Heinrich Bedford-Strohm said that the gathering brings him great hope.

Entitled "Changing Hearts and Minds: Uganda and Nigeria in the Fight Against HIV Stigma," the webinar is organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC). A new book, "Ahead of Her Time: Pan-African Women of Faith and the Vision of Christian Unity, Mission, and Justice,” authored by World Council of Churches (WCC) president from North America Rev. Dr Angelique Walker-Smith, debuted on 1 November, All Saints Day, during an online and in-person reception and awards ceremony of pan-African women of faith represented in the book. The event took place at Bread for the World (USA) in Washington, DC.
