In his report to the World Council of Churches (WCC) executive committee, which is convening 8-14 November in Abuja, Nigeria, WCC general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay reflected that, in the struggle for peace and justice in the world, the WCC is engaged in bringing justice, reconciliation, and unity.

In seinem Bericht an den Exekutivausschuss des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK), der vom 8. bis 14. November in Abuja, Nigeria, tagt, betont ÖRK-Generalsekretär Pastor Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay, dass sich der ÖRK in seinem Ringen um Frieden und Gerechtigkeit in der Welt für Gerechtigkeit, Versöhnung und Einheit einsetze.
