Once again on Friday, 21 September, less than six months from now, churches and communities will be invited to observe an International Day of Prayer for Peace.
Each year, in the framework of the International Day of Peace, more individuals, groups, churches and communities throughout the world are recognizing the significance of committing to One Day of Peace through prayer, meditation and other forms of spiritual observance.
This year, the World Council of Churches office for the Decade to Overcome Violence will make available prayer and liturgical resources developed in the context of the DOV Focus on Europe and its theme, "Make me an instrument of your peace".
