Em meio a uma das piores crises de saúde pública do mundo, Cristãos e Cristãs no Brasil mantiveram sua tradição de celebrar a Semana de Oração pela Unidade dos Cristãos no período que antecede o Pentecostes. Pelo segundo ano, os participantes estarão se reunindo em oração, mas não presencialmente.

Despite a signed and ratified peace agreement, the long journey of regional churches and the WCC in support of peace in Colombia is not over, says the WCC central committee, which urges churches, governments, and others to press toward fulfillment of the terms and promises of the agreement, to prevent momentum ceasing and violence resurging.

Malgré la signature et la ratification de l’accord de paix, le long chemin des Églises de la région et du COE pour soutenir la paix en Colombie n’est pas terminé, affirme le Comité central du COE, qui exhorte les Églises, les autorités et les autres parties prenantes à se dépêcher d’honorer les engagements et les promesses de cet accord afin d’éviter que l’élan ne retombe et que les violences reprennent.
