Al dirigirse a la Comisión de Fe y Constitución del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) durante la reciente reunión histórica de la comisión en Indonesia, el secretario general del CMI, Rev. In seiner Rede vor der Kommission für Glauben und Kirchenverfassung des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) im Rahmen der historischen Tagung in Indonesien drückte ÖRK-Generalsekretär Pastor Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay seine Dankbarkeit für die Arbeit der Kommission und seine Hoffnung für die ökumenische Reise im Jahr 2025 aus.

S’adressant à la Commission de Foi et constitution du Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) à l’occasion de sa réunion historique en Indonésie, le pasteur Jerry Pillay, secrétaire général du COE, a exprimé sa gratitude pour les travaux de la Commission et partagé son espérance au sujet du cheminement œcuménique en 2025.

As the World Council of Churches Commission on Faith and Order convened in North Sulawesi, Indonesia from 1-8 February, the gathering was underscored with hope at the heart of a Christian message to the world. 

Speaking to the World Council of Churches (WCC) Commission on Faith and Order during the commission’s historic meeting in Indonesia, WCC general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay expressed gratitude for the commission’s work, and hope for the ecumenical journey in 2025.

His Eminence Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Nicholovos of the Northeast American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church celebrated his Episcopal Silver Jubilee, or 25 years in ministry, on 17 November. Metropolitan Nicholovos is a member of the WCC Executive Committee. In an interview with WCC Communication, he reflects on his 25-year milestone, as well as on the challenges and joys of the ecumenical movement today.
