Pendant des décennies, le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) a œuvré pour la promotion de la paix dans la péninsule coréenne. Le COE formule et défend depuis longtemps une vision pacifique, de la réunion des habitant-e-s des deux côtés du pays divisé, à la création d’un réseau œcuménique mondial pour leur venir en aide.

Nearly 80 000 people are filling the small town of Arendal with seminars, debates, exhibitions and events. At a global conference on xenophobia in Rome, a panel of four religious leaders from, respectively, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu and Islamic traditions, spoke candidly about how xenophobia can sometimes be woven deeply into the fabric of these traditions.
