This online event, scheduled for 14 November from 15:00 to 17:00 CET, will bring together esteemed voices from both the faith communities and networks of people living with HIV.

Entitled "Climate Emergency & The Giant Leap—Faith Responses,” the webinar is organised by the Interfaith Liaison Committee, a platform co-chaired by the World Council of Churches (WCC). The online event will happen on 31 October and feature prominent voices in the field in a conversation on climate action and the role of faith communities.

In a letter to the United Nations General Assembly, the World Council of Churches (WCC) joined other global Christian organizations in reiterating a call for a New International Financial and Economic Architecture (NIFEA).

Convening at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey from 9-13 October, a steering group will craft a vision for a Faith and Order Nicaea 2025 World Conference. The conference, among other events, will mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea in 2025.

The WCC has launched two resources in collaboration with the UNAIDS Faith Partnership in the continued quest to support faith-based organizations and communities to respond to HIV.
