The meeting will include a major report of the work on widening the table of conversation on ecclesiology within world Christianity. There will also be reports on new publications, webinars already held or planned, and on the reception of the commissions work.

Participants will also hear a report on progress toward the  world conference Nicea 2025, as well as a review of the proposed contribution of Faith and Order to the WCC 11th Assembly, to take place early in September in Karlshue, Germany

The commission will also begin a process of evaluation of the ways it has operated since 2014, looking back and looking forward to prepare a slate of names for the next commission, to be appointed by the WCC Central Committee in 2023..

As in previous meetings, the Faith and Order Commission will  have the input from the moderator of the WCC Commission on World Mission and Evangelism.

Finally, the Faith and Order Commission will spend time in prayer together at every session, surrounding its work with heartfelt expressions of common faith.
