Youth in Asia Training for Religious Amity (YATRA) 2014

This two-week residential training programme is for young leaders aged between 20-35 years from the WCC member churches from Asia. Centred on the theme “Passionately Christian and Compassionately Interreligious” the training will equip participants to engage in ministries of justice and peace in pluralistic contexts from an interreligious perspective.

The residential programme will be preceded by an online preparation programme involving substantial reading and written work. Participants aspiring to participate in the programme are required to commit themselves to both the online and the residential parts of the programme.

This programme contributes to the continuing ecumenical formation of young Christian leaders from Asian churches for inter-religious engagement and is coordinated by Dr Peniel Rajkumar, programme executive for Inter-religious Dialogue and Cooperation.

Cost: USD 300.00, partial financial support is available on request
