وفد مجلس الكنائس العالمي يستمع إلى مخاوف وآمال كنائس الشرق الأوسط وهي متوجهة إلى الجمعية الحادية عشرة

زار وفد من مجلس الكنائس العالمي بيروت في 7 يوليو/تموز، في إطار زيارته لبناء جسور التواصل مع الكنائس الأعضاء في لبنان، حيث اجتمع مع قادة الكنائس وكذلك مجلس كنائس الشرق الأوسط للاستماع ونقل رسالة إلى الجمعية الحادية عشرة المقبلة لمجلس الكنائس العالمي ، والتي ستنعقد في "كارلسروه" بألمانيا خلال الفترة من 31 أغسطس/آب إلى 8 سبتمبر/أيلول.

Una delegación del CMI escucha las preocupaciones y esperanzas de las iglesias del Oriente Medio en el camino hacia la asamblea

En una visita de vinculación a la iglesias miembros en Líbano, una delegación del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) visitó Beirut el 7 de julio, donde se reunió con líderes de la iglesia y con el Consejo de Iglesias de Oriente Medio (CIOM) para escuchar y llevar un mensaje a la 11.ª Asamblea del CMI que se celebrará en Karlsruhe, Alemania, del 31 de agosto al 8 de septiembre.

Christ’s Love Moves the World to Reconciliation and Unity: A reflection on the theme of the 11th Assembly of the World Council of Churches, Karlsruhe 2022.

The result of the work of an international group drawn from different regions and confessional traditions, the text is intended as a resource for churches and Christians worldwide in advance of the WCC’s 11th Assembly, to take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, from 31 August to 8 September 2022. It offers biblical and theological reflections on the assembly theme, inspired by a biblical verse – “For the love of Christ urges us on” (2 Cor. 5:14) – against the backdrop of critical issues confronting churches and humanity as a whole. The text is available initially in four languages – English, French, German, and Spanish.

El Comité Ejecutivo del CMI insta a ofrecer apoyo y acompañamiento a las iglesias y al pueblo de Sudán”

En una declaración, el Comité Ejecutivo del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) afirmó su apoyo a las iglesias de Sudán en su testimonio y ministerio. La declaración acoge con satisfacción la visita de solidaridad ecuménica a Sudán, realizada conjuntamente por el CMI, la Conferencia de Iglesias de Toda el África (AACC) y la Comunidad de Consejos Cristianos e Iglesias de los Grandes Lagos y el Cuerno de África (FECCLAHA), entre el 20 y el 25 de abril.
