The Freedom of Religion or Belief (FORB) Learning Platform continues to offer resources and opportunities. FORB has begun the process of developing three online training courses on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FORB) – one for FORB trainers, one for community leaders and one for development professionals working in contexts of gross violations of FORB.

Training places are available for a facilitated five-week online course focusing on capacitating people who would like to train others on FORB issues. It includes modules on human rights education and facilitation skills, as well as modules on human rights, religious literacy, FORB, context analysis, and strategy development.

FORB representatives hope that the course can contribute to the development of an international network of FORB trainers from a wide variety of religious and belief backgrounds and a wide range of organisations.

FORB anticipates beginning trial runs for the Community Leaders Course and the Development Professionals course during autumn 2019 and spring 2020.

FORB is an initiative of the Nordic Ecumenical Network on Freedom of Religion or Belief in partnership with a wide range of secular and faith-based organisations that seek to promote the human right to freedom of religion or belief for all.
