An event entitled “Nuclear Resilience for Peace and Prosperity” will officially open a photo exhibition on 8 March at the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva. Co-hosted by the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Permanent Mission of the Marshall Islands in Geneva.

The tenth edition of the Symposium on the Role of Religion and Faith-based Organizations in International Affairs will take place on 23 January online, and will explore the theme “Human Rights and Dignity: Toward a Just, Peaceable, and Inclusive Future.” 

The World Council of Churches Ecumenical Water Network and its partner organizations will host a hybrid side event, “Faith Community is a ‘Blue Community”,’  on 22 March in conjunction with the UN Water Conference in New York City.

Organized by the World Council of Churches and a variety of other faith-based partners, the symposium, an online event, will open with a high-level panel consisting of a UN official, faith-based representative, and member state. The theme of the 2023 edition is "Securing People’s Wellbeing and Planetary Sustainability".

It has been two years since the United High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) launched its Global Action Plan to End Statelessness and the first ever Global Forum on Statelessness in The Hague, The Netherlands, where an ecumenical delegation shared their Recommendations.
