Daily Bible studies at the Conference on World Mission and Evangelism has been gathering participants from mainline Protestant, Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Evangelical, Pentecostal, and African-instituted churches. The Bible studies prepared for the for the conference are available at the WCC website.

Under the theme ‘Moving in the Spirit called Transforming Discipleship’, the World Council of Churches is hosting a major conference on World Mission and Evangelism in Arusha, Tanzania, 8-13 March.

A document published in Swahili language titled, ‘The Church: Towards a common vision’ was launched at the Conference on World Mission and Evangelism in Arusha, Tanzania on 12 March. The document is now translated into 15 languages.

La versión suajili del documento “La Iglesia: Hacia una visión común” fue presentada el 12 de marzo en la Conferencia sobre Misión Mundial y Evangelización celebrada en Arusha (Tanzania). El documento ha sido traducido a quince idiomas.

Le document intitulé «L’Église: Vers une vision commune» traduit en swahili a été présenté lors de la Conférence mondiale sur la mission et l’évangélisation à Arusha (Tanzanie) le 12 mars. Ce document est désormais traduit en 15 langues.

“Is our notion of discipleship inclusive of those who exist in the marginal spaces of our world?”, asked Adi Mariana Waqa, the keynote speaker of a plenary on the theme of mission from the margins at the Conference on World Mission and Evangelism (CWME).

“The truth we are all sharing with the world is a living truth coming out of the life of people, it is not a dead dogma”, said Prof. Dr Dimitra Koukoura, from the Ecumenical Patriarchate, during a panel held at the Conference on World Mission and Evangelism (CWME).

«La vérité que nous partageons tous avec le monde est une vérité vivante qui vient de la vie des gens, ce n’est pas un dogme mort, a déclaré Dimitra Koukoura, du Patriarcat œcuménique, au cours d’une table ronde organisée dans le cadre de la Conférence mondiale sur la mission et l’évangélisation. Notre tâche est d’entretenir un dialogue avec les sociétés ouvertes pour les ré-évangéliser, et d’apporter dans leur vie, par l’Évangile, un sens véritable à l’existence.»

More than 50 women from across the globe, representing diverse faith traditions, gathered on 6-7 March in Arusha, Tanzania, for a pre-conference on the theme “Women in Mission on the move of the Spirit: Mentorship for Transformation”.

A consultation in Arusha, Tanzania, has issued a communique entitled “Sustainable Peace in Burundi.” The meeting, organized by the World Council of Churches and the United Nations Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect, drew together Burundian religious leaders on 18-19 October.

Como resultado de una consulta celebrada en Arusha (Tanzania), se ha publicado un comunicado titulado "La paz sostenible en Burundi". The World Council of Churches (WCC) is inviting proposals for workshops to be conducted at the Conference on World Mission and Evangelism (WMC), which will take place from 8-13 March 2018 in Arusha, Tanzania, under the theme “Moving in the Spirit: Called to Transforming Discipleship”.
