These guidelines - covering the roles of moderators, delegates and participants; setting the agenda; making decisions by consensus and by formal vote; election process; language and other elements - apply to the Assembly and to meetings of all bodies of the WCC.

"Religious plurality and Christian self-understanding" : The question of the theological approach to religious plurality had been on the agenda of the WCC many times, reaching a certain consensus in 1989 and 1990.1 In recent years, it was felt that this difficult and controversial issue needed to be revisited. The present document is the result of a study process in response to suggestions made in 2002 at the WCC central committee to the three staff teams on Faith and Order, Inter-religious Relations, and Mission and Evangelism, and their respective commissions or advisory bodies.

Sous le titre "La mission et l'évangélisation dans l'unité aujourd'hui", ce document a été adopté en 2000 par la Commission de mission et d'évangélisation du Conseil oecuménique des Eglises pour servir de document d'étude au cours de la phase préparatoire de la Conférence mondiale sur la mission et l'évangélisation.

The present document is the result of a study process started in response to strong suggestions made during the 2002 meeting of the WCC Central Committee to the three staff teams on Faith & Order, Interreligious Relations, Mission & Evangelism and their respective commissions or advisory bodies. The question of the theological approach to religious plurality had been on the agenda of the WCC many times, reaching some consensus in 1989 and in 1990. In recent years, it was felt that a new approach to this difficult and controversial issue was needed.

Dies ist das erste der Vorbereitungspapiere, die in unregelmäßigen Abständen ins Internet gestellt und von denen einige auch gedruckt werden. Das Papier “Mission und Evangelisation in Einheit heute” wurde im Jahr 2000 von der ÖRK-Kommission für Weltmission und Evangelisation als Studiendokument angenommen, das in der Vorbereitungsphase zur nächsten Weltmissionskonferenz Verwendung finden sollte.

Éste es el primero de una serie de documentos que serán publicados a intervalos irregulares, primero en la web y, después, en versión impresa para algunos. El documento “Misión y Evangelización en la Unidad hoy” fue aprobado por la Comisión de Misión Mundial y Evangelización del CMI en 2000 como un documento de estudio para ser utilizado durante la preparación de la próxima conferencia de misión mundial.

Zum ersten Mal hat die Weltmissionskonferenz in einem mehrheitlich orthodoxen Umfeld stattgefunden. Obwohl junge Leute nicht so zahlreich vertreten waren wie erwartet, haben sie eine wichtige Rolle gespielt. Zum ersten Mal nahm mit vollem Stimmrecht auch eine beträchtliche Zahl von Delegierten aus Kirchen, die nicht zur Mitgliedschaft des ÖRK gehören, an der Konferenz teil, d.h. der römisch-katholischen Kirche sowie einiger pfingstlicher und evangelikaler Kirchen und Netzwerke. "Wir" sind daher eine vielfältige Gruppe von Menschen aus allen Teilen der Welt und vielen ethnischen und kulturellen Kontexten, die viele Sprachen sprechen und die größeren christlichen Traditionen repräsentieren. Unser Thema ist ein Gebet: "Komm, Heiliger Geist, heile und versöhne".

Por primera vez, esta conferencia CMME ha tenido lugar en un contexto predominantemente ortodoxo. Los jóvenes han desempeñado un papel especialmente destacado. Por primera vez la reunión ha incluido una delegación considerable y plenamente participante de la Iglesia Católica Romana y gran número de representantes de las iglesias y redes pentecostales y evangélicas. "Nosotros", por consiguiente, somos un grupo diverso, hemos venido de todos los rincones del mundo y de muchos contextos étnicos y culturales, hablamos muchas lenguas, y representamos a las grandes tradiciones cristianas. Nuestro tema es una oración: "Ven Espíritu Santo, sana y reconcilia".
