Rev. Kelli Jolly, like many Bahamians, is used to living through the possibility of multiple hurricanes, year after year. She serves as itinerant presbyter with the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas, Bahamas/Turks and Caicos Islands District, Nassau Circuit of Churches.

La Rev. Kelli Jolly, como muchos bahameños, está acostumbrada a vivir con la posibilidad de que pasen múltiples huracanes, año tras año. Trabaja como presbítera itinerante de la Iglesia Metodista en el Caribe y las Américas, en la región de Bahamas/Islas Turcas y Caicos, en el distrito de iglesias de Nassau.

La pasteure Kelli Jolly, à l’instar de nombreuses personnes aux Bahamas, est habituée à vivre avec le possible passage de multiples ouragans, année après année. Elle officie en tant que presbytérienne itinérante pour l’Église méthodiste des Caraïbes et des Amériques, le district des îles Bahamas/Turques et Caïque, et le circuit ecclésial de Nassau.

„Die Menschen in der Karibik können aus einem umfassenden Fundus an Erzählungen schöpfen, die das spirituelle Leben von Menschen christlichen Glaubens auf der ganzen Welt bereichern können“, sagte Anthony Currer vom Päpstlichen Rat zur Förderung der Einheit der Christen.

“The people of the Caribbean have a rich story to tell, one that can enrich the spiritual lives of Christians around the world,” said Fr Anthony Currer of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. That very story was shared in a heartfelt way this week at an ecumenical gathering to create the first draft of the text that will be used for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2018.
