A new volume—“Contemporary ecotheology, climate justice and environmental stewardship in the world”—is the latest of the continued fruits of the 6th International Conference on Ecological theology and Environmental Ethics, or Ecothee, which took place in September 2019 at the Orthodox Academy of Crete in Kolymvari.

The 5th Ecumenical Pilgrimage for Climate Justice from Poland to Glasgow crossed the English Channel from IJmuiden in the Netherlands to Newcastle-upon-Tyne in England on 11 October. They were given a warm welcome on site.

Dans ce contexte, les membres du Groupe de travail sur les changements climatiques du COE se sont réunis pendant quatre jours afin d’établir une stratégie qui permette une action efficace pour la justice climatique et une participation convaincante des initiatives d’inspiration religieuse à la Conférence des Nations Unies sur les changements climatiques, en décembre à Paris (COP21).
