In order to strengthen the voice of the churches with regards to global economics, a group of up to 20 current and future leaders representing the churches will have the opportunity to attend the Ecumenical School on Governance, Economics and Management (GEM School) for an Economy of Life in Nairobi, Kenya (TBC) from 19 until 30 August 2024.

GEM School aims to train church leaders and young persons on eco-just international economics and global economic governance, thereby equipping churches with tools to enable them to engage in advocacy for transformations in the financial and economic architecture.

This week, the first week of Advent, in the Ecumenical Prayer Cycle, we are praying with the people and churches of Myanmar and Thailand.

3 December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. In a time of physical distancing, let us unite our hearts and minds as we prayerfully seek to overcome Sexual and Gender-Based Violence together.

Churches Week of Action on Food (15 - 22 October 2018)

This liturgy prepared for the 2016 Churches Week of Action on Food and World Food Day (16 October) can be used throughout the year to reflect on God's gift of creation and celebrate all who are responsible for the food we have.

This order of worship has been prepared by the World Council of Churches for the 2015 Churches' Week of Action on Food. It can be adapted as appropriate, with credit given to the source.
