The World Social Forum (WSF) 2024 is scheduled to take place from February 15-19 in Nepal. A 22 November webinar, “Debt Cancellation as Anti-Racism in times of Black Lives Matter protests”, will explore how debt cancellation for African and other developing countries can be an instrument for overcoming racism.

The webinar will discuss the impact of climate change on food, food systems and livelihoods. Key input will give information regarding negotiations towards developing meaningful guidance to inform climate action in agriculture.

Observing a Weekend of Prayer and Action against Hunger on 16-17 October 2021, the World Council of Churches and a range of ecumenical organizations and partners invite people and churches around the globe to pray and act for an end to hunger.

The webinar will provide an opportunity for critical analysis and feedback on the UN Food Systems Summit process and summit. (Pre-summit took place in July and the Summit on 23 September).
