Seminar: The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue

The World Council of Churches (WCC), with the Laudato Si’ Movement and other partners, will cohost a seminar in Assisi, Italy, on 15-16 March. Entitled "The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue,” the event aims to deepen the collective understanding and appreciation of the Feast of Creation, observed on 1 September.

The Ecumenical International Youth Day| Transforming Education

This year, the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Lutheran World Federation (LWF), in partnership with the World Student Christian Federation (WSCF), will observe together the International Youth Day (IYD) with the theme: “Transforming Education.” Youth are the future of the church, and they are great advocates for Christian unity. Nathan Söderblom seminar

As an early and eager pioneer in the ecumenical movement, Archbishop of Uppsala and the Primate of Sweden, Dr Nathan Söderblom (1866 -1931) earned worldwide recognition. His dedication to ecumenical work for peace earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1930. On 3 June, the WCC invites all interested to a half-day seminar at the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva.
