On Friday 14 January the general secretary of the World Council of Churches, the Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, will travel to London for a consultation with Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams and other leaders of the Church of England. Tveit will be accompanied by two members of his staff and WCC president Dame Mary Tanner.

The conversation will address a number of topics involving the role of the Church of England and the global Anglican Communion within the fellowship of churches represented in the WCC, and how the World Council can best serve its member churches. The meeting in Church House will be followed by a luncheon.
