The committee will focus on the spiritual life of the assembly, from daily prayers to plenaries, from home groups to ecumenical conversations and “Brunnen” workshops.
Home groups, a new feature in WCC assemblies, will provide space for delegates to reflect together each day in small groups on the theme of the assembly, “Christ’s love moves the world to reconciliation and unity.”
Brunnen, which is German for “the well,” will be a space of encounter at the assembly featuring workshops, networking zones, exhibitions and cultural activities.
The meeting marks the fifth time the Assembly Planning Committee has convened, and its second time convening online. The agenda also includes preparations for the online meeting of the WCC central committee 23-29 June.
