Rev. Dr Mauro Batista de Souza currently serves as 2nd Vice President and Global Mission and Ecumenism Advisor of the Evangelical Church of the Lutheran Confession in Brazil (IECLB). He has recently been elected President of the IECLB beginning in 2027. He is also a member of WCC’s central committee.
