On Tuesday, 31 March at noon, Central European time, a panel of experienced church leaders and medical experts goes on air to address the global challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic from a medical, moral, and spiritual perspective.

The WCC held the 1st consultative meeting on ecumenical global health strategy in Maseru, Lesotho on 27 February 2017. A second consultation takes place in Geneva on 24 May, to reinforce the unique contribution of the ecumenical movement to global health issues, and to strengthen the coherence of the ecumenical global health strategy being developed.

During a one-week summer school, communication and theology students will address questions of media and globalization, which are directly related to the theme of religion in the mass media. They will be introduced to different communication theories and get to know the challenges facing communication in the ecumenical movement and in interfaith dialogue.
