Young people gather for peacebuilding in Judaism, Christianity and Islam

As young people from across the world gathered for a three-week Interreligious Summer School at the World Council of Churches (WCC ) Bossey Ecumenical Institute, they heard inspiring greetings about interreligious dialogue from people who encouraged them to contribute to issues of religious pluralism and intercultural acceptance in a society based on migration and globalization.

17 Studierende haben im August am Ökumenischen Institut in Bossey einen Zertifikatskurs in interreligiösen Studien abgeschlossen. Der sechswöchige Kurs, der von der Universität Genf akkreditiert ist, besteht jeweils zur Hälfte aus einem Fernstudium und dem Studium vor Ort.

Young people reflect on interreligious studies

Seventeen students completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Interreligious Studies in August at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey. The six-week course, credited by the University of Geneva, is evenly split between distance learning and a residential experience.

Au mois d’août 2016, 17 étudiantes et étudiants ont obtenu leur certificat d’études avancées (CAS) en études interreligieuses à l’Institut œcuménique de Bossey. WCC to hold seminar on migration and theological education

How should the growing phenomenon of migration affect training for ministry? An upcoming seminar organized by the WCC at the Ecumenical Institute Bossey will focus on evaluating experiences and devising new approaches to theological education that can help churches understand migration as an opportunity of “being the church together”.

CAS in Interreligious Studies

This is the question up to 30 young adults from around the world are to explore during a study course at the World Council of Churches' Ecumenical Institute in Bossey.
