Le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) a proposé des perspectives et participé au dialogue lors de la pré-Assemblée des jeunes du Conseil national des Églises en Inde, qui s’est déroulée du 17 au 19 avril à Hyderabad.

Organisée par le Centre indien pour la paix, la pré-Assemblée des jeunes s’est tenue sur le thème «L’heure est venue: l’heure pour les jeunes de construire un monde de paix et de durabilité».

 

The World Council of Churches (WCC) offered insights and participated in dialogue at the Youth Pre-assembly for National Council of Churches in India (NCCI), held 17-19 April in Hyderabad.

Organized by the India Peace Centre, the Youth Pre-assembly was held under the theme “The Hour has Come: The hour of Youth Building a World of Peace and Sustainability.”

Amirtham was a multifaceted and charismatic teacher, pastor, leader, and revolutionary, inspiring and accompanying many lives, from remote villages to universities, to the corridors of power.

The Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI) is one of the largest Baptist groups in India, including 1.2 million members in 7,263 congregations. The CBCNEI officially became a WCC member church in July. Rev. Dr Solomon Rongpi, general secretary of the CBCNEI, spoke to WCC news about the CBCNEI’s decision to join the WCC.

Le Conseil des Églises baptistes du Nord-Est de l’Inde, un des plus importants groupes d’Églises baptistes de l’Inde, avec 1,2 million de fidèles et 7 263 paroisses, a officiellement rejoint le COE en juillet. Le pasteur Solomon Rongpi, secrétaire général de l’organisation, a évoqué avec les «Nouvelles du COE» la décision du CEBNEI de devenir membre du COE.
