Last week, around 500 youth workers and leaders from churches all over Norway gathered outside Oslo for a youth and faith conference to learn and to share knowledge and visions on Christian youth work.
Attending the Central Committee meeting of the World Council of Churches (WCC) in Trondheim is Peder Borgen, who was part of the First Assembly of the WCC in Amsterdam in 1948.
It might seem like a trivial task to help with the logistical arrangements of a major meeting. However, for the “stewards” of the WCC, this task means more than merely helping out.
