The World Council of Churches (WCC) Eco School released a declaration calling for climate justice and a transition to green energy, among other actions.
Fifteen young people from 10 countries across Europe and North America are taking part of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Eco-School at the Orthodox Academy of Crete, Greece, 11-18 November, exploring water, food, and climate justice.
Following the WCC/UN High Level Conference on the Refugee Crisis in Europe, which took place at the Ecumenical Centre Geneva on 18-19 January, a statement has been issued entitled "Europe’s Response to the Refuge Crisis, From Origin to Transit, Reception and Refuge, A Call for Shared Responsibility and Coordinated Action”.
À l’issue d’une conférence de haut niveau sur la crise des réfugiés en Europe, organisée par le COE et des agences onusiennes au Centre œcuménique de Genève les 18 et 19 janvier, une déclaration a été produite, intitulée «La réponse de l’Europe à la crise des réfugiés et des migrants – Départ, transit, accueil et refuge: un appel au partage des responsabilités et à la coordination des actions».
