Grüne Reformation: Samenkörner der Hoffnung für eine ökologische Theologie

Vom 12. bis 15. Mai wird am Ökumenischen Institut in Bossey bei Genf, Schweiz, eine internationale Konsultation „Grüne Reformation: Umweltschutz, Religion, Ausbildung und die Zukunft der ökumenischen Bewegung“ stattfinden. Organisiert wird sie vom Programm für ökumenische Theologie-Ausbildung des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Evangelischen Missionswerk in Deutschland.

Green Reformation: seeds of hope for an ecological theology

An international consultation on "Green Reformation: Ecology, Religion, Education and the Future of the Ecumenical Movement,” organised by the World Council of Churches (WCC) department on Ecumenical Theological Education in cooperation with the Association of Protestant Churches and Missions in Germany, will take place 12-15 May, at the Ecumenical Institute Bossey, near Geneva, Switzerland.

Meetings in the WCC and Bossey widen horizon for ordinands

Twenty ordinands from the Church of Sweden accompanied by Rev. Pehr-Albin Edén, ecumenical officer, and professors from the Church of Sweden Study Institute, visited the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Ecumenical Institute of Bossey in November. This has become a real tradition for the Swedish who come every year.

EKD delegation, other visitors grace WCC

A delegation from the Evangelical Church in Germany is visiting the WCC on 26-27 October for an ecumenical learning experience that includes prayers with students from the Bossey Ecumenical Institute, an introduction and overview of the work of the WCC, a meeting with the Lutheran World Federation, and a guided tour of the Ecumenical Centre.
