Gregor Wolbring is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Calgary (Canada), Cumming School of Medicine, Community Health Sciences, Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. He was one of three finalist for the 2020 Sustainability Award University of Calgary category, Faculty Sustainability Research. He received the Tanis Doe award of the Canadian Disability Studies Association in 2017 and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal awarded in 2013 by the government of Canada in recognition of the benefit of his academic work to the greater community. He is member of the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS), Karlsruhe, Germany, Olympism for Humanity Alliance, and a Fellow: Institute for Science, Policy and Society, University of Ottawa, Canada.
