El Día Mundial de la Salud es el 7 de abril, fecha en que la Organización Mundial de la Salud conmemora su 76.º aniversario. Este año el tema es "Mi salud, mi derecho", que nos recuerda que debemos abogar por un acceso equitativo a los servicios de salud y trabajar por un mundo más sano e inclusivo.

Weihnachtsbotschaft des Ökumenischer Rat der Kirchen, Dezember 2023: Was ist dieses Licht?

Anlässlich des 70-jährigen Jubiläums des zwischenkirchlichen Stipendienprogramms von Brot für die Welt bedankte sich der Generalsekretär des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK), Pastor Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay, für rund 3.500 Alumni und Stipendiatinnen und Stipendiaten seit 1952.

Am 23. Februar 2023 hielt der ehemalige amtierende Generalsekretär des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen, Pfr. Prof. Dr. Ioan Sauca, bei einer Sonderveranstaltung an der Universität Fribourg zu Ehren seiner Arbeit einen Vortrag zur Frage: „Welche Zukunft für die Ökumene? Bewegung?"

Paz y gracia a ustedes desde Jerusalén, la Ciudad Santa. En mi calidad de árabe cristiano quiero agradecer la oportunidad que me han dado de escribir una reflexión para la emisión de este año de “Siete semanas por el Agua”. Ciertamente, esta zona del mundo siempre ha estado lidiando con todos los temas relacionados al agua debido al clima seco y a los pocos recursos hídricos existentes en la región. Hoy, sin embargo, el pueblo palestino enfrenta un desafío aún mayor pues es una crisis que empeora año tras año.
