At diakonia conference in Norway, world’s pressing challenges and gratitude share the stage

Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay served as a keynote speaker at the Ninth Conference for Research in Diakonia and Christian Social Practice, hosted by the International Society for the Research and Study of Diakonia and Christian Social Practice and VID Specialized University. The theme of the conference was Contested Spaces of Diaconia – Seeking Justice, Safety and Well-Being.”

El GETI 2022, la tercera iteración mundial del Instituto Teológico Ecuménico Mundial (GETI, por su sigla en inglés), reunió a unos cien jóvenes teólogos de todo el mundo durante seis semanas de intenso intercambio y aprendizaje ecuménico. Las primeras cuatro semanas tuvieron lugar en línea, y las dos últimas, de forma presencial, durante la 11ª Asamblea del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) en Karlsruhe (Alemania).

GETI 2022, die dritte Ausgabe des Globalen Ökumenischen Theologie-Instituts, versammelte rund 100 junge Theologinnen und Theologen aus der ganzen Welt für sechs Wochen intensiven ökumenischen Austauschs und Lernens, angefangen mit vier Wochen online, gefolgt von zwei Wochen mit persönlicher Präsenz vor Ort. Parallel dazu versammelte sich der Ökumenische Rat der Kirchen (ÖRK) für seine 11. Vollversammlung in Karlsruhe, Deutschland.

L’Institut mondial de théologie œcuménique (GETI) 2022, qui constitue le troisième évènement de formation théologique œcuménique mondial, a réuni une centaine de jeunes théologiens et théologiennes du monde entier pendant six semaines de partage et d’apprentissage œcuméniques intenses. Il s’est déroulé en deux phases: une première phase en ligne pendant quatre semaines, puis une phase en présentiel pendant deux semaines, dans le cadre de la 11e Assemblée du Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) qui s’est déroulée à Karlsruhe, en Allemagne.
