Januar hat der geschäftsführende Generalsekretär des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK), Priester Prof. Dr. Ioan Sauca, im Rahmen einer vom Institut für Ökumenische Studien der Päpstlichen Universität Heiliger Thomas von Aquin veranstalteten Diskussion über das Thema „Die Pandemie, der Ökumenische Rat der Kirchen und die globale Gesundheit“ gesprochen.

Rev. Dr Angelique Walker-Smith has become the first female in history elected to the post of president of the Historic Black Church Family of Christian Churches Together (CCT). Walker-Smith is a member of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Central Committee and also a member of the WCC Commission on Ecumenical Education and Formation.
