“The WCC and the world need strong peace-builders and creative bridge-builders now more than ever,” said Dr Agnes Abuom, moderator of the WCC central committee. “The global fellowship is growing and thriving, and the next generation of leaders will be involved in historic steps forward for our fellowship of churches.”
The four open staff leadership positions include programme director for Unity and Mission, programme director for Public Witness and Diakonia, director of the Commission on Faith and Order, and director of the Commission on World Mission and Evangelism.
The new positions will take up the momentum built at the upcoming WCC 11th Assembly in Karlsruhe.
The deadline for all applicants is 30 April.
