A joint publication of the World Council of Churches (WCC) and ACT Alliance, this study document aims to clarify the understanding of ecumenical diakonia and to provide a common platform for acting and reflecting together for the churches and ecumenical partners worldwide. 

The major publication outlines the theological components of diakonia and offers practical content for those engaged in the service of diakonia. The study document is intended to be used for formation and training in ecumenical diakonia, to strengthen the institutional capacity of those involved in diakonia, and to foster dialogue and cooperation between churches, ecumenical partners, ACT Alliance and the WCC.

Consulta en línea explorará la intersección entre las crisis alimentaria y de deuda, y sus posibles soluciones

El Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) será coanfitrión de una consulta en línea el 12 de abril para abordar el asunto urgente de las crisis convergentes alimentaria y de la deuda. El evento invita a las iglesias, a los socios ecuménicos y a aliados de la sociedad civil a reunirse para examinar las intersecciones y las raíces de estas crisis, y buscar orientación colectiva sobre posibles respuestas conjuntas.

La consultation en ligne explorera l’intersection des crises alimentaire et de la dette – et les solutions possibles

Le 12 avril prochain, le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) co-organisera une consultation en ligne visant à aborder la question urgente de la convergence des crises alimentaire et de la dette. Cet événement permettra aux Églises, aux partenaires œcuméniques, et aux alliés de la société civile, de se réunir afin d’examiner les intersections et les racines de ces crises, et de réfléchir collectivement à d’éventuelles réponses communes.
