Les éducateurs chrétiens et les autres responsables d’Églises au Togo tournent avec plaisir les pages d’une nouvelle ressource destinée aux enfants, un programme d’éducation intitulé «Parce que Dieu m’aime – Affirmer ma valeur en Christ», publié par le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE).

Christian educators and other church leaders in Togo are eagerly turning the pages of a new resource for children, a curriculum entitled “Because God Loves Me—Affirming My Value in Christ,” published by the World Council of Churches (WCC).

The All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) and the World Council of Churches (WCC) are calling for justice for Memory Machaya, a 14-year-old who died while giving birth at the shrine of the Johanne Marange Apostolic Church. 

Church leaders in South Africa and Zimbabwe are participating in online workshops on “Churches and Child Safeguarding” on 3 and 5 August. Part of the World Council of Churches (WCC) partnership program with UNICEF, “Churches’ Commitments to Children,” the workshops are designed to nurture churches where children feel welcome and safe.

Les deux ateliers organisés au Nigéria et en Tanzanie par les Conseils locaux des Églises, en collaboration avec le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE), la Conférence des Églises de toute l’Afrique et l’UNICEF, ont consolidé le partenariat pour mettre fin aux violences sexuelles contre des enfants.

In der Gesamtafrikanischen Kirchenkonferenz herrscht Aufbruchstimmung, denn die afrikanische ökumenische Organisation beginnt ihren neuen Fünfjahres-Strategieplan umzusetzen.
In einer ambitionierten, aus sechs Säulen bestehenden Roadmap hat diese Gruppierung aus protestantischen, anglikanischen, orthodoxen und indigenen Kirchen komplett neue Arbeitsfelder für sich entdeckt und investiert damit neue Energie in bestehende Programme. Zentrale Punkte der Strategie sind Effektivität, Effizienz und Zuverlässigkeit für die Ökumene, der es besonders um die Erfüllung ihrer prophetischen Mission geht.

A wave of change is blowing at the All Africa Conference of Churches, as the African ecumenical body implements a new five-year strategic plan. In an ambitious six pillar road map, the grouping of Protestant, Anglican, Orthodox, and indigenous churches has unveiled completely new areas of work, as it moves to inject new energy into older programmes. At the core of the strategy is effectiveness, efficiency and reliability for the ecumenical body, which is keen to deliver on its prophetic mission.

Soplan vientos de cambio en la Conferencia de Iglesias de Toda el África (AACC, por sus siglas en inglés), gracias a la implementación de un nuevo plan estratégico de cinco años en el organismo ecuménico africano.
En una ambiciosa hoja de ruta compuesta por seis pilares, la agrupación de iglesias protestantes, anglicanas, ortodoxas e indígenas ha anunciado áreas de trabajo completamente nuevas, y emprende medidas para inyectar energías renovadas en sus programas más antiguos. El núcleo de la estrategia es la eficacia, la eficiencia y la fiabilidad en el organismo ecuménico, que está decidido a cumplir con su misión profética.
