El 20 de abril, una delegación ecuménica encabezada por el presidente del CMI para África, Su Santidad el Rev. Dr. Rufus Okikiola Ositelu, de la Iglesia del Señor (Comunidad de Oración) en el Mundo, se reunió con el presidente de Sudán, el general Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan.

Le 20 avril, une délégation œcuménique menée par le président du Conseil œcuménique des Églises pour l’Afrique, Sa Sainteté le pasteur Rufus Okikiola Ositelu de l’Église du Seigneur (Communauté de la prière) dans le monde, s’est entretenue avec le président soudanais, le général Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.

“What is God calling Christians and the Christian Church to do today? Whose and what voices are we listening to?” asked Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay, general secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC) in his sermon at the ecumenical worship of the General Conference of the United Methodist Church (UMC) on 30 April, in Charlotte, North Carolina (US). 

As the “Waterfall of Solidarity and Resistance: sharing the stories” book made it into the hands of students at the Gender and Religion Program at Faculdades EST in São Leopoldo, Brazil, they saw firsthand how their artistic expressions about ending gender-based violence were being shared with the world.
