La iniciativa de Pascua es una actividad anual del Programa Ecuménico de Acompañamiento en Palestina e Israel (PEAPI) del CMI que se propone conectar las narraciones de la Pascua con las realidades actuales de Palestina e Israel, poniendo de relieve las dificultades de vivir en un contexto marcado por la violencia, la guerra y la ocupación, al tiempo que alimenta la esperanza y destaca la labor de los grupos y las personas que se esfuerzan por lograr una paz justa.

Easter Initiative 2024

Seminar: The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue

The World Council of Churches (WCC), with the Laudato Si’ Movement and other partners, will cohost a seminar in Assisi, Italy, on 15-16 March. Entitled "The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue,” the event aims to deepen the collective understanding and appreciation of the Feast of Creation, observed on 1 September.

WCC at the World Social Forum 2024

"True Freedom” webinar

Screening of film “Our Land of Olives and Vines”

The World Council of Churches will host the screening of a 10-minute movie “Our Land of Olives and Vines,” featuring Al Makhrour in Beit Jala, the last green area—rich in olive trees, fruits, and apricots—left in Bethlehem, and very connected to the heritage and future of Palestinian Christians.
